eagle-i ID

Resource Type

  1. Blood pressure monitor

  1. Resource Description
"PWA is a computerized clinical assessment tool for measuring central blood pressure. The peripheral pressure pulse waveform contains information in addition to the maximum and minimum values (systolic and diastolic pressures) PWV measures the velocity of the blood pressure waveform between any two superficial artery sites. The velocity is dependent upon the stiffness of the artery along which the pulse is traveling. Values for both are displayed both graphically and numerically."
